BORANUP HOUSE

This home for a commercial diver and his family is sited in a flat paddock with the Boranup karri forests to the northwest .

The house stretches itself to the east and west to make good use of warming winter sun to all habitable rooms. A stair off the entrance leads to the upper floor man-cave / kids hangout whilst a recessed outdoor living area provides a protective haven from the strong summer and winter southwesterly winds. Proposed materials include off form concrete, plywood and coreten steel sheet.
